Full-Time IT Change & Release Manager Opportunity

Job Summary:
​
Responsible for IT Change and Release process design, standardization, adoption, and governance. Work proactively with team members as well as any Service Providers to ensure successful Change Management implementation in an efficient and cost-effective manner which minimizes disruption to normal operation. This role manages the end-to-end effectiveness of the standardized Change Management process across company. You will also interface with the development teams to ensure Release Management procedures exist and are followed.
• Responsible for the overall Change Management process objectives and process design
• Ensures internal and external compliance with Change and Release Management processes
• Manages integration of Change and Release across business units and teams
• Provides oversight and guidance to Release Managers
• Establishment, ownership and chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
• Oversees effectiveness of Change Control review board(s) integration and performance
• Monitors escalation approvals for Emergency Changes with ECAB members
Experience:
​
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• ITIL Practitioner or Expert Certification required
• 5+ years’ experience running Change and Release management processes for an organization
• 5+ years demonstrated leadership of ITSM program deployment and governance
• 5+ years of process development and IT operations experience
• Business acumen coupled with good technology understanding and awareness
• Experience in building strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Experience working in a distributed IT and Application Development environment
• Freshservice ITSM experience a plus
